Food arrived 2 hours late and was soggy

the food was PHENOMENAL as usual. It took unusually long to deliver--poor driver service. I called Med Cafe and confirmed that they had fulfilled my order within 15mins but my food took another 40mins to receive my food that usually takes 10mins.

We were sooo disappointed. Expected more hummus with our orders. The large falafel balls were super dry and not edible.

Mediterranean Cafe never disappoints!

It was a bit cold. But the flavor was good.

Chicken apricot was not available, although prominently featured on the website and on Eat Street menu. Delivery was late and driver neither rang the bell nor handed the food to the homeowner. Food itself was ok, if slightly cold due to these problems.

Food is always excellent from Med Cafe! Thank you. Had some problems with delivery though - so would give delivery 2 stars. The driver just left it outside a different building and called to tell me he couldn't find my building. My building is a major UW-Madison building with an address (1180 Observatory Dr) clearly on any of the map. apps Eventually he got it delivered, but he didn't seem to know what he was doing and didn't seem to care very much about making sure it worked out.

The food was terrific -- as always -- unfortunately it was stone cold as it was more than an hour late in being picked up and delivered.

It was fine. I had the Mediterranean sandwich. It was good. The pita was a bit dry but it didn't crack which was good. Flavorful too. The baklava was okay. I like mine more wet or dripping with honey and these were more dry as well. Delivered quickly!

The delivery person left the food downstairs in our condo building and we were not notified when it was delivered, So when the food should?ve been here in 30 minutes we did not find it for an hour and 20 minutes.

Fice and his whole crew literally delivered, as always. LOVE Med Cafe, love the people who work there!

My go to is the Mediterranean sandwich. Never fails me.

Excellent flavor. Warm not hot.

The chicken tasted like fish, and not good fish. I almost puked after the 2nd bite. I had to throw it away. I was not expecting such a horrible taste. At least the rice was palatable. What happened? I will not be ordering again.

We ended up waiting more than 2.5 hours for food that was supposed to arrive in 40 minutes. I called to find out where it was, and the staff member noted that the order had indeed been placed and somehow hadn?t been communicated to the delivery driver (even though tracking said it was out for delivery). No problem, it?s tough with apps and short staffing, let?s just fix it, right? Wrong. Was told they could no longer fill my order because ?we just got really busy? but that I could let them know next time I came into the restaurant and they could hook me up with a free tea. Free tea? It would take more than that to save the situation. No thank you.

Pretty good. Shwarma could have been a bit more done, baklava needed a bit more syrup. Forgot the side sauce that comes with the meal. Still happy you are in business.

Since no order tracking we didn?t know when the order was dropped off, no notification, by the time we checked it was sitting outside and it was cold! Food was ok the baklava piece was minuscule.

The rice and meats were really good, but the hummus and tahini were very mediocre.

Amazing food, great prices, and fast delivery

My dinner was delivered incredibly quickly, and it was delicious. The immense side salad was wonderful.

Foods always great! But it's arrived multiple hours late multiple times.

The food used to be good. For the past few times the chicken has been very dry and the pita felt 2-3 days old.

Every time I have ordered from here the food is great, the chicken shawarma is delicious, and the chicken is always tender and juicy.

Shawarma, especially chicken, tasked barely seasoned and cooked in I don't know what, but definitely not spit roasted.

While not the fanciest food in town, Mediterranean Cafe is some of the tastiest. The Avgolemono soup is always tasty and lemony, and I really liked the stuffed pepper, a special that I had not had there before. It came with rice and a salad and was very satisfying for the price. Plus their schedule during COVID for delivery/carryout is quite a bit better than before, when it would close at 3pm, very frustrating for someone who would love to enjoy their food for dinner. Now I can. Part of the experience is the sweet Earl Grey tea, try some!

Am so glad to have begun getting delivery from the Med Cafe--it was a favorite lunchspot for me before the pandemic . The food is still just as great as before !
