Tokyo Sushi

The asparagus sushi and sweet potato tempura sushi were delicious and fresh. The shrimp tempura was poor--the tempura tasted as if it has been fried much earlier in the day. Not crisp with an old oil taste.

Food never arrived despite being reassured multiple times by EatStreet that a driver was on their way. The restaurant did nothing wrong- they had the food ready to go. EatStreet is a trash service and I won?t use it again. Other delivery apps way more reliable

Food was excellent, but waited an hour for food when Eat Street said it?d be 10 min. I guess I was naive, it was a Sat night, but, still?that was frustrating.

Ordered on Valentine?s Day and the restaurant had a large backup of orders. Neither the restaurant nor EatStreet were very transparent - I had to get updates from my waiting delivery guy (who ultimately left without the food after nearly an hour). When an order arrived after 3 hours it was the wrong order completely.

The sushi was really good except I received soup instead of the salad I ordered and the delivery took quite awhile. Glad to see they offer delivery now though Tokyo Sushi is some of the better sushi I?ve had in Madison!

I really like this place but my veggie tempura was very dark - almost burnt. It was very oily too.

Got a notice for 45 minute delay. The amount of crab meat on my California rolls was laughable. Drove delivered to the wrong address in a completely different building

My ordered arrived late. The food was no longer hot. The hibachi shrimp was delicious, but the rest of the food was not.

Not great. Ordered the maki combo (salmon roll, tuna roll, cali roll) and Boston roll. The sushi rice was bland and not seasoned. The Cali roll was flimsy and fell apart, like it was loosely rolled. The Boston roll was sliced so thin, like a Gimbap. I haven?t had sushi cut like that, just seemed rushed or something. Everything just tasted bland and not made with love or care.

Chicken was a bit dry.

Food was awful. Sushi was dry and hard (just had vegetarian rolls) and the tofu teriyaki was a bunch of mush.

Loved the sweet potato tempura roll! Vegetable rainbow roll was good too but the carrot was a little large. Other dishes: vegetable tempura, garlic broccoli were excellent. Husband and I were split on the vegetable fried rice. He said it tasted fishy. I didn?t think that. We?ll definitely order from here again or go in person. The EatStreet fees were kind of a lot, around $10, separate from tip.

Usually the vegetable tempura is good but this time the veggie tempura was heavy and almost too fried. Some even had dark spots.

Sushi was good but no wasabi or ginger included.

Usually I had no issue with their sushi because I get it quite a bit. I ordered dinner and by 1am I was up sick.

Tokyo sushi has a great rainbow roll! I also had the salmon stir fried rice and was underwhelmed. Nevertheless, I'll be ordering from them again!

When ordering vegetarian choices and meat choices it should be a best practice to assume they are packaged separately. Ordered $84 dollars worth of food to have the vegetarian and meat selections be mixed together. As a vegetarian I do not want my food in the same containers as the food the meat eating person is eating. The food was excellent!! Just packaged wrong.

It was ok, showed up on time etc. but the sushi was very average. Somewhat tasteless? Soup was not great, even for inexpensive sushi.

The best food I?ve had in Madison the vegetable tempura was fabulous. Also the seaweed salad.

Ugh. Was so disappointed. Was about the same as getting grocery store sushi. Did not taste fresh and the rolls were a mess. For ?spicy? they just blobbed some sauce on top. Would not recommend.
