Lak Laan-Xang is a solid SEA restaurant in the Madison area.
Absolutely fresh, healthy and delicious!
We always enjoy a meal from Lao Laan-Xang. Their Squash Curry is the best!
Laotian food at it's best!
I very frequently order from Lao Laan Xang in person. The curry I received was not the same quality they make in person. It was still relatively tasty, but it was both spicier than the spice level I requested and the chicken was overcooked. But I know firsthand that they are one of the best restaurants in Madison so I could never rate any lower than a 4!
Perfect as always.
Food was delicious like always! This restaurant never disappoints.
The food was great as usual
Food was fine just delivered to the wrong apartment
The food was delicious as always!
Always exceptional food, one of my favorite restaurants in Madison.
The mango sweet rice is the best thing I've ever eaten
They forget one of our ordered items.
I never actually got my food, but they are always excellent!
3rd time missing the rice. Not worth the price if the dish is incomplete.
OMG LOVE THIS PLACE !!
Your driver only delivered part of the order! There were two bags of food and he only grabbed one! That is the second time that has happened!!!! I am not happy! We we would have had to wait 20-25 minutes for him to get back with the 2nd bag so you so did credit what was missing from the order. Not happy we didn?t get what we wanted!!!!!
their food is consistently excellent
Tumeric curry was great. Will order spicier next time but was delicious. Squash in it was perfect
We ordered noodles but got rice. Otherwise, everything was excellent.
Amazing food, highly recommend the mango curry and sweet rice with fresh mango! Very fast delivery too!
My only complaint about this restaurant is that my home is outside their delivery area so I can?t get food delivered from there more often.
Food great; eat street communication and service AWFUL.
Best spring rolls and veggie egg rolls anywhere, including dipping sauces. Also love their cashew chicken with the combination of pineapple and roasted squash.
The lettuce wrap filling didn't have any peanuts but that didn't matter because it was doused with so much lime juice it was inedible. I salvaged the lettuce and cilantro. For $18 it was awful. Truly awful. The eggrolls were burned and dripped grease like this was a strip mall Americanized Chinese place.
Food and service was as perfect as always!
The food took way too long to get to me and it was cold upon arrival. I live 3 minutes away from the restaurant. They could have made it far closer to the pickup time knowing it wouldn't be able to be picked up for about an hour and a half. I was just incredibly disappointed with the experience for how much money I spent. I especially hate how the fee to EatStreet is based on how much money I spend as though it costs them more to operate based on how much food I order? It should be a flat fee. I didn't feel well so that's why I couldn't go out but I'll just be better prepared to not have to order food to-go in the future. I won't make this mistake again.
Order took 2 1/2 hours to deliver when it was originally estimated to be 1 hour. They forgot the crab ragoons and ordered spring rolls with shrimp and they forgot the shrimp. We tried to cancel the order because of how long it was taking and neither eat street or the restaurant could cancel the order. My mom had to leave for an appt and could not even eat. Very disappointed with both eat street and the restaurant.
The food from Lao Laan-Xang never fails to impress. we were surprised that the steamed vegetable Phra laam did not come with rice, but it really didn't need it. It took a bit longer than anticipated to be delivered but tthat was ok as well.
Quite disappointed in more than one way! I love this restaurant, I have been loving their food for more than a decade, but I realize that the Atwood location is very different in customer service and the quality of food in comparison to the now closed Willie Street Location! ( this is after several times eating from there now!) My favorite dish Larp came with mostly brown and black lettuce leaves and almost half of the usual portion had been partially replaced with a pile of soybean sprouts, which come only as a few usually in this dish. One brown leaf would have been ok. but pretty much every single one was just gross! EatStreet told me I had to call the restaurant directly and I did. The manager did offer a refund or replacement, but asked me to contact EatStreet to assure another delivery driver. I spent more than 1/2 hr back and forth as Eatstreet referred me back to get in touch with the restaurant as Eatstreet could not reach Lao Laan Xang. As I did so, wanting simply a resolve, I felt like a bother to both parties and in the end did not know what was going on, as each either were short with me by hanging up quickly or not very receptive to my concerns and I got the feeling I did something wrong by my mentioning the issues with the food. The replacement arrived with fresh lettuce about another hour later, but was I no longer hungry. As said I am quite disappointed in Lao Laan Xang and Eatstreet.
Half my order was missing.
Great food, need I say more.
I love getting the squash curry and some other things. Great food each time. Definitely recommend.
The was good and the appiters where great
Mango curry and the crab rangoon are delicious!!
Food was pretty good. Spring rolls were soggy. Curry was flavorful.
Always excellent. Somehow my crab rangoons were giant sized this time. Firsttime fried rice and loved it!
Very good food as usual! But the meal came with noodles instead of rice. The App defaults to noodles, which is SUPER weird! Would be great if app default could change to rice.
Rice was harder than day old concrete, and a half portion for two entrees. Did not put requested spice level to either entree. If you liked the Willy street one, skip this place because it clearly is not even close to the same level of quality and you are going to be disappointed.
Love their food and friendly people! Long time customer here! Many, many years.
I have been a customer with Lao Laan Xang for a long time and this was the best LARP I have ever had from them! This is my favorite dish of all times- so you can trust I had it many many times! Beautiful flavors lots of fresh lettuce along with it
Food was delicious. But needed warming up by the time it arrived. That?s not the fault of the restaurant.
