Efes Mediterranean Grill - Princeton

Ordered two take-out items. First, the website did not allow us to enter a pick-up time, only ASAP was available. Second, when the order was collected the bag was wet. We asked for it to be repacked which it was but when we opened the bag at home we found only one of the two items was included. On returning for the second item one of the staff objected until a more senior staff member made good on the order. We have always found Efes food to be consistently excellent, which this was, but lately the service quality has declined which is most disappointing.

Want to be able to order for pickup at a fixed time rather than x minutes ahead.

The mixed grill dish came with no salad only rice, The falafel with humus seems smaller than before.

The lamb kebab was excellent !

food quality was ok not great and portions were very small for the price... order was wrong and had to be corrected...

Food is consistently above average to excellent. Somewhat frustrating that a few times the delivery driver has not knocked or rung the doorbell, just leaves the food on the stoop and then texts a picture of the address/ building. Any delay in the text message and the food is aging. Overall 4 and a half stars.

Food was great, but unfortunately our order was messed up and we were also missing an item.

It's much cheaper if you eat in the restaurant. takeout is not worth it

Adana kabob was burnt. I had an order for 4 large lamb Adana entrees just after the restaurant opened at 11.00 am and it seemed like they used the kabobs from the day before and re-grilled them. Very bad experience unlike the previous times

Food was great as usual - we do take out from there every few days. However, the order was not accurate. They forgot to pack a few things.

Hummus was very smooth and extremely tasty Mixed grill excellent. Moussaka was tasty but not moussaka. It was an eggplant stew with sprinkled in ground beef.. not a casserole and no bechamel sauce. Dont know what to call it but was not a traditional moussaka. Hence, less than great review.

Chicken kabob was delicious, super fresh, and perfectly tender.

Food is great, service not so great . Arrived to pick up my food at designated time and had to wait an additional 30 minutes.

Excellent food as always, and prompt delivery. Miss the Turkish coffee though - can't really do that for delivery! So hope you are able to reopen soon.

Food was amazing!! Everything was fresh, serving size was plentiful. Will definitely order from Efes again.

The food is excellent and in reasonable in price. If you are looking for a Turkish restaurant in central New Jersey, I do not think you can do better than Efes.

The food was not as stellar as usual. I tried a new dish (tas kebab) that was less flavorful than I expected and the hummus in the combo appetizer, which is usually excellent, was runny and tasteless. However, the rest of my meal was just fine. It's very rare for me to be disappointed with Efe's so I will assume that they were just having an off night.

The food was excellent. Will keep going back.

I don?t get the update the food is ready and cashier welcome greetings are so bad he wasn?t even talking and tells no me about my food

Mucaka was terrible!

All dishes were excellent. Pita bread was ordinary commercial stuff in a bag. Do they sometimes make their own? Maybe next time I'd rather have rice, since the pita wasn't special.
