New York Pizza - Hayward

When I lived in Hayward years ago I would always order New York Pizza on A Street. Now I am back in Hayward and, of course, ordered a pizza from New York Pizza. I was so disappointed. New York Pizza used to be the best from any other pizzas ever. But the one I got last night was a big disappointment. There was no flavor to it except for a mound of cheese. I assumed I would eat at least half of it and have the rest for left overs. I was hungry so ate 2 pieces. Today, I threw the rest away. Sad to say, a couple of weeks ago I was at a friend's house and they ordered a pizza from Domino's. Wasn't that great but I'll be honest with you, it was better than New York Pizza. Could be a fluke, maybe a different preparer but I don't think I want to spend another $35.00 for a pizza such as that one. I am so sorry. I don't usually leave bad reviews but this one was a big surprising let down. Delivery person was on time and very friendly.

The New York pizza on A st has made great recipes that I constantly enjoy, the Chicken tiki pizza was lackluster. The tiki seasoning was barely noticeable (I have a decent pallet) and the cilantro was the only saving grace.

The largest pizza was on the bottom of a pile with 3 pizzas on top. Half the pizza was ruined because the toppings stuck to the top! I'd like a credit or refund from the restaurant.

I ordered the pesto chicken pizza with pepperoni on half. It was delicious!
