Rice was very mushy and clumped up together. Grains of rice would not separate. Seems to have a lot of moisture in the box. Bad smell and taste. The chicken was better but the overall meal was terrible.
Food was fatty rice was overcooked and took way longer than told
Excellent
Food was not seasoned. Mango lassi had ice and whip cream for some reason and it wasn?t good.
the hummus, baba ganoush and tabouli were aweseome. The pita bread was wrapped in separate aluminum foil to keep warm which worked. The two other appetizers ended up soggy by the time they arrived, but the flavor was good.
The food that we received was good although cold; we don't think this was delivery slowness. No pitas. No tahini despite the items indicating these were parts of the meal. Everything had to be rewarmed. Unfortunately, we won't order from them again. Thank you, Eat Street for the credit, we would have preferred a refund though. Additionally, you should change your "problem" choices to indicate that the food as ordered did not arrive, not just the special requests. See
After order was 30 minutes late I called Casablanca and staff was rude over phone and told me eat street driver was never sent to pick up food. I called eat street and was told restaurant never notified eat street that order was ready. Eat street said they would send a driver out right away. An hour after our food was supposed to arrive I called eat street again and they informed me that they had no drivers available and cancelled our order. If I wouldn?t have called again no one would have called us to tell us our food was cancelled.
Terrible food. Rice was mushy? I can make better rice. Got crab soup instead of lentil soup? seafood allergy !
Food was good, but it took almost two hours to receive it
Food was fine. Staff was very helpful since EAT STREET NEVER PICKED UP MY ORDER and an employee had to track someone down to deliver it.
Order never showed up.
I didn?t get the right order
They were out of buns for the falafel sliders so I ordered those but did not receive them. Food was delivered cold and the containers tipped sideways so it was a big mess within the plastic bag. The spinach artichoke dip was so cold it arrived as a big lump of cheese, as opposed to a dip. I specifically selected NO CONTACT DELIVERY; and put notes to just leave it at the front door. Instead the delivery driver put it at the front door but then yelled at my front door until I opened it.
Food was warm and we live 10+ minutes away. So good!!!
Food was good, but delivery was extremely late.
I received the wrong order.
Food was good but missed an item.
Service was very good. Followed my instructions exactly.
The Eat Street delivery aspect was excellent. No complaints. Perfect. The food itself was a bit disappointing. Beef was too salty and too cooked. Not enough rice for three kebab meal. And absolutely too little veggies for three kebabs (onion, pepper really only enough for one kebab. For the entree price, I expect a bit more.
Great kabob wrap!
The food is definitely over priced. Ordered the vegetarian cous cous and there was no cous cous included. Also my shrimp was over done. And surprised they don?t include any taziki sauce. Honestly, Shwarma House has better food and way better prices too.
Very good, hot and tasty.
Firrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
The food was severely underseasoned.
I love Casablanca. Period
Good as usual
The lamb was perfect and was warm when it came. All the food was wonderful. We will order again.
I didn?t get my spinach pie or my lentil soup so I was pretty disappointed!
the delivery took an 1 1/2 hours to arrive and I?m about a 3 minute drive away. I denied the food because we found something else. No apology and no refund. I would not recommend this place or eat street to anyone. Grub hub from now on.
We need to state up front that we have always loved Casablanca's food and that we've considered it one of our very favorite restaurants in MIlwaukee. All previous delivery and in-restaurant experiences have been 5 star. Our wedding anniversary was on Saturday Dec 21, and we decided to celebrate at home and order delivery from Casablanca on Brady. Firstly, the Eat Street profile stated plainly "free delivery", but when the order fields were completed a $3.99 delivery fee was automatically tacked on. Ok, not cool, but we really love Casablanca and we were to get 2 free pieces of baklava. Our order total with tip is over $63.00. Big deal. Casablanca is great and a great meal is worth paying for! Food arrives on time, but it's quite cold. Ok, but whatever...we love Casablanca. Then we began eating our meal. Immediately we are alarmed. The tahini sauce was so salty it was literally inedible and ruined both my shawarma and my first piece of falafel. Both the hummus and the baba ganoush, usually the best we've had anywhere, were extremely bland and awful, nothing that resembled the taste that we have been accustomed to having from this wonderful restaurant. It's hard to describe how really bad those two sides were. The tabouleh salad did not taste good either. My wife's chicken kabob was a little saltier than usual, but edible. We ate a few bites more and looked forward to dessert, the baklava. It was nowhere to be found. We are saddened to give this review, but it's honest. Not sure what happened, but we were extremely bummed out that our special meal was horrible.
Actual time to delivery was >1.5x the estimate. Food was cold when it arrived.
Great food
Great food and great service!
Everything was ready on time, wrapped with care, and very delicious. I would order again, soon!
Food was good, but instead of taking the 20 min it said it would on the site, or even 40, it took about an hour and a half to get our food.
The food was excellent, the delivery however left much to be desire. It took over 90 minutes for food to be delivered. Eat Street needs a better system to double check on orders being made on their site. I will def order from Casablanca again, but will not be using EatStreet again.
I love their lentil soup and never get tired of their hummus and pita. Add a salad and I have enough for two meals.
We didn't receive the food - placed an order and then over an hour later received a notification that the order was canceled
Food and restaurant were amazing with wonderful service.
No food ever showed up, when I called noone answered the phone. It said online that their kitchen is open til 1am. My order went in at 10pm.
It would have been nice to know that Brady St Festival was going-on; I searched for parking for 20 minutes.
I had ordered Falafel platters but i didnt get any Pita bread or Tahini sauce along with it. I just got Falafels and some pickles.
Never bothered to send the food I ordered.
The food was great, but cold. An employee from Casablanca had to deliver it an hour after Eat Street?s stated delivery arrival time online. He stated you never sent a driver. This is the first time this has happen. I, otherwise, have been quite happy with your service.
Didn?t follow instructions but that?s why 4 star.
The falafel was wrapped in a flour tortilla. I didn?t prefer it and discarded it. I assumed it would be wrapped in a pita. They got the order wrong. I selected fruit for two of our five wraps but received all fries. They forgot our soup. They also forgot our tahini sauce again (last time they forgot this, too). The person running the carry out on the phone lacks good customer service. I called to ask to add potato salad on our order and she barked that they don?t have it and hung up. I?ve ordered it from there?s before, so she could have explained that they don?t make it anymore instead of being rude. We will not patronize this place ever again. There are better middle eastern restaurants that will receive our business instead.
Great food but they forgot my hummus :(
The food is delicious?but we did not get everything we ordered. When we tried to call the restaurant, we could not get through.
