Our meal was almost 2 hrs late. It was cold and tasted terrible. EatStreet did nothing to accommodate our issues. I won?t use their app again.

The food was great but arrived an hour later than expected. Might not be 100% on the restaurant but I was over promised and under delivered, literally. I would expect different results from a restaurant that is less than three blocks from my home.

Yummy ribs and pork brisket. Tasty potato salad, cole slaw, and baked beans.

Very disappointed. I ordered a full rack of ribs, it was the shortest full rack I have ever seen. It had only 6 ribs. The rib bones were quite fat with little meat. One end of the rack, the meat was very burned and chewed like shoe leather. The sauce is quite spicy and good. After the meal I was still hungry. The quanity of servings very small for a $28 price tag.

I ordered a 1/2 slab BBQ ribs. Smoky Jon's has been a hit or miss for the last couple of years. Today, a definite miss. Tried to eat around the over "tough as leather" meat. Not worth $19. Overcooked, very thin. I was so incredibly disappointed. The corn and fries were good.

We were supposed to get an entire side (1 lb) of potato salad that was not with the order. Most of the food was otherwise good. Mac n cheese was mostly just cheese (few noodles) and the sugar buns seemed overdone. Order also came 30 min later than the estimated time.

Rib meat wasn?t very tender.

Most of the time I get great food from Smoky Jon's. But this time, my ribs were mostly dry and hard, like jerky, with parts that were simply inedible. I was disappointed, and likely will consider other options for BBQ next time. Other parts of the order were fine.

The meat was ok. The potatoes and the corn had so much garlic, I couldn't eat either. I won't order here again

For the first time ever in over 25 years of regular patronage my ribs were tough. Hopefully this was just an anomaly.

Smoky Jon's has always been on of the best for BBQ in Madison.

Probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had with Smoky Jon's. I ordered a full rack of ribs, and the entire thing was either charred or so dry it was inedible. The sides and sauce were good as always, but the ribs themselves were very disappointing.

My brisket sandwich ended having plastic wrapping in the meat. So that was disgusting. The ribs were about 60% fat, not the normal rib meat that I'm used to from this place. Very disappointed in a place that I used to love.

It's been a long time since I've had Smoky Jon's. The bbq sauce is as good as I remember, the ribs themselves however, are tough and mostly inedible. Very disappointing.

The food is amazing especially the ribs and how they just fall off the bone best ribs in madison .

Much of the half rack of ribs were inedible- more like tasteless jerky. The small portions of edible meat were tender and delicious. The garlic mashed potatoes were vile- gluey boxed instant potatoes with garlic that was bitter and tasted spoiled. The spicy potato salad was not bad. My dining companion had a cheeseburger and skin- on French fries. He rated both, ?average.?

Food was truly delicious. Would suggest though that Smoky Jon's use sturdier containers for to-go orders.

have to give this place 1 star. In which I spent 80 on this family meal. first off my food looked disgusting. I thought this place would have good food because of the reviews. My ribs tasted like it wasn't season, burnt and dry, wasn't cleaned good and just tasted like smoked on a electric smoker. The garlic mashed potatoes were to salty. The beef brisket were so shredder it looked like slop on a plate. With me spending that much i thought at least they could of gave us utensils. The only thing good in this meal was the mac and cheese. I will never order here again.

The food was good but delivery t Did not use front door and was walking around outside and the hair salon with my food father exposing my food to other people. There are signs on each door stating where each apartment is located

The food took 2.5 for delivery as Eat Srreet kept pushing the timd back. I contacted the restaurant and they said they the food had been aittimg there for an hour as they were waiting for it to be picked up. I contacted Eat Street multiple times during the order but all they did was reach out after you received the order. When the order arrived cold I reached oit and haven't heard back. I didn't eat the food due to the risks based on the temperature change of food and food service as this was not acceptable and could cause food poisoning.

The rotisserie chicken and chopped brisket sandwich were great, the ribs above average, and the sauce, mashed potatoes and beans good. The Mac and cheese was pretty bad - a cup of congealed cheese with some noodles, and the portion of sides is really laughably small ? especially for the price of stand alone sides. The chocolate cake was okay, but it?s not fudge cake. It?s a tiny wedge of chocolate Bundt cake. The biggest issue was delivery time ? move than 40 Minutes late.

The baked beans and Cole slaw were excellent. The chopped brisket was excellent. The fries were ok. The half-slab of ribs were boney and not very meaty.

Second time in a row ribs were like jerky.
