North of the Bayou

The breaded fried fish is too thick with breading. I can hardly taste the fish. I should have ordered the blackened baked fish again. The beignets are a little too tough and chewy. Everything else was very good including the cole slaw and fries.

The large size of jambalaya was the size of the small order of shrimp creole I?ve had and didn?t have much flavor. I paid extra for sweet potato fries and literally got 6 fries.

The sandwich was awesome and the remoulade and other sauce were good. The sweet potato fries were a little soggy and the beignets were a little doughy compared to others I have had. Overall it was still a really good meal.

For $16 the portion was very small. For a rice dish I would have expected at least double the portion. There was no chicken in the dish.. this item was more like a side dish. It was also very gummy.. jambalaya should not be gummy. Also I am starting to see additional fees on EatStreet orders. As a result, I am increasingly not seeing the value of ordering on on your platform. Too bad.

Very meh experience. Got Jambalaya, Crayfish Etouffee and beignets. Jambalaya was incredibly bland, like white rice and meat with barely any spices. Very disappointing. Etouffee was better, but the crayfish tasted fishy and it still needed lots of hot sauce to be enjoyable. Beignets I was mixed on, they were decent home made doughnuts but completely crusted with melted on sugar, I had to scrape most of it off to be edible. I have had better at the farmers market. All in all, very average food of Chilis/Applebees quality and authenticity. Just makes me REALLY miss New Orleans Take-Out, RIP.

We love the food at the Bayou, and the delivery was great and timely. I often enjoy the Crawfish Etouffee.

Really great food. Had some good spice to stone of it. Not hot just some kick. Good portions too. Going to be ordering again
