Food was delicious as always. I just want to make a note that there have been several instances (including yesterday?s order) where I put notes in to put sauces on the side, and or request the extra scoop of protein for $5, and I pick up my order and the extra scoop isn?t there (this happened once), or they put the sauces on the side, and then still put them in my bowl (this has happened twice). The food is always great, and I will keep ordering because it?s a special treat for me as a live about an hour away so I only get it on rare occasions, but I would like if more attention was paid to the special requests.
Came to pick up my order, turned out it was picked up by Grub Hub by mistake; had to wait for the Grub Hub agent to return my order! Quality of food was not satisfactory after all.

Honestly, we have ordered here every time we visit madison. In the past 6 months we have ordered atleast 10 times and every time it is great. Unfortunately this time was terrible. No flavor what so ever. Not sure if you guys changed things because if you did, please change it back!
Gyoza was not very tasteful?did not seem freshly made, or have much of anything going for it. Sushi was serviceable. Udon was merely ok. Probably won?t order from them again; Fin Sushi will remain our go-to (they had stopped delivering when we ordered).

Sashimi was frozen still when I received it. Sushi roll was loose not tightly rolled and fell apart. I don't believe all the ordering from here again.

The five stars is for the restaurant who did everything right. Unfortunately, the EatStreet delivery driver was 45 minutes late to picking up my food. If I could rate EatStreet separately, it would be 1 star. I had to call the restaurant twice, who called EatStreet in order to find out that someone was coming. If you promise a 30 minute estimate in your app, deliver on that 30 minute estimate.
Food was mediocre and they messed up my order and gave me a roll with meat in it. I am vegetarian and this was such a disappointment.

It was subpar. The rice in the sushi was dry. I?m pretty sure they didn?t season it properly and used plain rice. The rolls would come together nicer and stick together better. The crab Rangoon was really cold by the time it got to us.
They cancelled the order half an hour after I placed after deciding they didn't want to deliver to my address.
They did not have the items I selected and gave me quite a hard time about canceling my order, they kept trying to substitute other items instead of letting me cancel. As of writing this they have not refunded me my money nor did they ever deliver anything.
Rice was kind of stale. Fell apart when used with chopsticks. Arrived in double the amount of time it said it was. Still ate all that sushi though so 2 starts and not 1 because it did get the job done
I regularly order take out from here and it's great. Delivery--not so much. Website said 45-50 mins for delivery. It took nearly two hours. Not sure what happened, but I'll likely go back to *takeout only* from Akari.

The food was late and it was pretty much dead. I couldn't even eat it unless I made like a sushi bowl out of it because it was either solidified to other pieces of sushi or to old to hold in the rolls so it all basically fell apart.
Not a great experience. The driver left our food outside of the hotel on a bench.
Best Asian food in Madison in my opinion. High quality of meat, great egg noodles, and a good amount of food for the price. Can?t say enough about this little joint, please give them a shot!
They do their own delivery I believe. I ordered food at 6:30pm, waited an hour and a half before trying to contact them as my food hadn't arrived. Couldn't get through to them on the phone because their phone was not working. I got a random text at 9:50pm saying "I am on the way" and then a few min later they were calling me saying they were at my house to deliver my food. I was not home at that point and had to tell them I thought they weren't coming. They took the food back and EatStreet refunded me my money. Some communication from Akari would have been nice. Shouldn't have to wait 3.5 hours for a delivery.
