Reviews for Taste of Thai
I placed a $70 delivery order through EatStreet that never arrived. I made 8 phone calls in the course of 3 hours, during which time I discovered that although the order is placed through EatStreet, the restaurant Taste of Thai contracts with Delivery.Com to pick up and deliver the order. When the order was not delivered, the restaurant refused to refund me, saying that "Delivery.Com is our partner, and they are responsible for refunds." Delivery.Com, which has a D- rating from the Better Business Bureau and is not BBB accredited, ran me around in circles for 2 hours, and required 3 separate phone calls before they entered my request for a refund. Taste of Thai is repsonsible for which delivery services they contract with and how they do so. I consider it dishonest to advertise on reasonably reliable delivery sites like GrubHub and EatStreet, but use a disreputable service like Delivery.Com, which the customer only discovers after spending money. I am sorry to discover that they have made this business choice, as I generally like their food, but I will not be ordering from them in the future unless they change their delivery contracts.
