Flamingo Restaurant & Ice Cream

Very overpriced for the quality. Dinner was not what I ordered.

Fantastic food, affordable price. My favorite taco place in DeKalb.

The order took an extra 25 minutes after the scheduled pick up time to be ready and we had a group waiting to eat. While I do appreciate the restaurant calling to ask about substitutions, they were out of many of the things we had ordered online. When we did receive the food, it was good, just not exactly the experience we were hoping for.

Sorry, I always love flamingo but this experience was horrible. I?m vegetarian and my order had chicken in it, assuming this was because the app offered food that wasn?t on their actual menu. And half our order was missing .. next time I will just go there and make sure my order is taken correctly. The lady was understanding though and said she would try and fix the menu on EatStreet.

The food is always delicious, i withheld one star because we ordered 2 green tamales and we were given something that was unlike the green tamales in the past, there was no meat in them and it had onion in it. we ended up throwing them away.

I order ground beef got chorizo and carnita. Tasted awful.

ETA of 20-35 min took an hour and a half

After waiting over an hour for delivery we called to ask where our food was. They said it was on the way. We live 3 blocks from the restaurant and it still took another 30 minutes to arrive. Order was completely wrong, had all steak tacos instead of 3 steak and 3 beef, food was cold. Order elsewhere!!!! Never again.

I have eaten many different entrees from Flamingo's and never have I been disappointed! Always tasty, fresh and servings are very generous.

That was the best flan I've had in almost 20 years.

very disappointed. Delivery took 2 hours. When I tried to call to find out about the delay no one answered. Will not order from them again. I have used Eatstreet many times over a couple years, I have never had a complaint before.

I ordered a burrito dinner and didn't get the rice and beans on the side. They just gave me the burrito.

Food was fantastic, but they had issues with eatstreet apparently as it took 2 hours to receive our food. The estimate said one hour, we waited 15 minutes past that, then called them to find out they didn't have our order, or weren't notified. Then they made it and delivered it as quick as they could.

Food is always fantastic, the barbacoa tacos and anything with the steak especially. They are always very generous with the salsas and you can tell everything is made fresh.

My tacos were excellent! They were ready right on time and the gentleman working there even called me to ask about details not provided during the online ordering process.

We ordered our food for pickup at 5:13pm and the pick up time was 5:33. My boyfriend went to pick up the food. They changed the pickup time to 5:45 which was fine because we had a big order, but then the associates continued to take orders and serve new customers before preparing our order. I called the Flamingo at 6:10 and asked when the order would be ready because my boyfriend had not come back yet. The man on the phone LIED to me and said ?she just left?. When I said ?you mean he?? He was like ?yeah he just walked out?. Another 20 minutes later I call my boyfriend and he said that he was just leaving. So not only did the employee LIE to me, but they prioritized other orders before ours despite us spending $65 and waiting in the restaurant for over an hour for a pickup order that was supposed to be ready in 20 minutes. The food was good, but I will not be ordering Flamingo anymore after this experience.

Came quickly! Gordita was soggy/tough.. Maybe a different way to wrap it would help.
