The okra was stringy and inedible, the mac and cheese had no flavor, the pinto beans were not separated from the rest of my food and made a huge mess in the bag as well as made the okra soggy. The cornbread was hard. Lastly I asked for no ice in my uptown and it was full of ice. On top of everything the staff was very unpleasant.

My experience was poor due to the restaurant being closed for vacation until 7.29.25. I didn't know this until I went to pick up my order. The website still allowed me to place an order, even though they are closed. There should be something in place to prevent this from happening.

Oxtails weren?t good, crab cakes were too salty

The broccoli casserole was dry and tasteless. The ketchup on the meatloaf had a sour taste and the meat wasn?t seasoned to my liking.

Food was good but you forgot an order of fried okra. I checked the receipt and I definitely paid for it.

The service was good; the person at the register was friendly and helpful. I just was not super impressed with the food - I would?ve preferred more seasoning/flavor in the meal but you do get a good portion for the amount you pay.

I had a large order?details as followed: Dressing was not seasoned. Peach Cobbler had too much cinnamon. Banana Pudding was made with pudding (Not from scratch) Crab cakes were okay could have been fried longer. Shrimp were good. Chicken was good. Mac and cheese was good. Greens were mediocre. Ordered pound cake, received lemon cake. Fried okra was excellent!

Get food and it was hot, I will visit there again

I was surprised my pork chop was fried fresh. It was definitely dry. I normally love thier pork chops. Ms Crippen

Cornbread was not fresh

Oxtail and rice was only thing I could eat. The dressing or should I say stuffing was not good. The cabbages was too salty. I wasted my money this time.

Not good at all very bland cornbread was hard and cold. Oxtail had no flavor. Honestly, truly a waste of money.
