I?ve ordered from Star Pizza for delivery many times and been satisfied. This particular Saturday was a different story?the background noise coupled with the heavy accent of the person who answered the phone (I mean no offense but this was a factor) made it impossible to communicate?I finally made out the words ?no driver.? Not good for 3:00 on a Saturday afternoon. I decided to order online for pickup. The online platform has changed several times and EatStreet is just the latest, which can make things confusing. The actual ordering process was okay and I received an email with a pickup time. Due to my previous enjoyment of Star Pizza when it was delivered, I really am dismayed and regret that I was forced to go there (the Alpharetta Hwy. location). The place is dirty, dingy, greasy, and gross, in need of extreme cleaning and significant maintenance and appearance improvements. I arrived within 5 minutes of the designated time and my order was already lukewarm. I would not recommend this place to anyone ever, despite having previously enjoyed the food, but now really questioning (and feeling quite queasy about) the conditions under which it was made. Don?t order from this place until you confirm with your own eyes that it has significantly improved and cleaned up its act.
