Mama Sid's Pizza

Mama Sids is awesome, this app acted very poorly.

after over an hour I had to call and find out where my pizza was. According to Mama Sid's their connection to Eat Street messed up and EatStreet called in the order and told Mama Sid's that the pizza was for pick up not for delivery. Pizza is always good, but delivery is always bad.

Always great food, you guys are my go to pizza place!

The food was good.

Food quality was good but the service was not. It took over an hour to receive our food after we were told the machine that takes online to go orders was broken. Not sure why it would take over an hour to cook a pizza once they realized this.

The pizza from here is delicious! I've ordered take out from here 2 or 3 times and my order has always been correct and ready when I get there.

Got a prompt call from the owner about our order...to make sure they had it right!!

The pizza was excellent. However, it was supposed to ready for pickup at 5:48. After being told several times that it would be another 15 minutes, I was able to pick up the pizza at 6:40. Also, again the pizza was very good. The decor was not. It looks like a place that is about to be declared unlivable. If they have been in business since 83 then why don't they invest in a decent customer-friendly location? Also have your employees wear hair nets. Just saying.

Very good pizza! I never heard of Mama Sid?s when I was in school at UGA in the late 70?s. Don?t know why, but never knew the place existed until I moved back to Athens 1-1/2 years ago. Ordered the Kitchen Sink pizza and it was very good!! Toppings were plentiful, the sauce was great - not over powering - the crust was delicious and not greasy with the right amount of crispness. The flavors were awesome. One of the best pizzas I?ve had in quite some time. I will definitely be back and won?t be waiting 40 years this time!!! Highly recommend Mama Sid?s. Pizza was very good and reasonably priced.

Mama sid's makes joy. The Philly cheese steak pizza is my family's favorite. Our first post pandemic dining trip will be to return to our favorite pizza place.

Absolutely perfect. They have a new customer for sure.

As always, a delicious pizza but it took almost 90 minutes for it to be delivered.

Small, local, family-oriented business that makes great pizza and calzones! Specials on Mondays and Wednesdays. Their pizza crust is just right, not quite thin, but perfectly balances the cheese, sauce and toppings. Yum.

Still one of the best values for the money in Athens, great quality, great prices, truly a great Athens institution

Food tasted great; still warm when it arrived. Order was ready early. Delivery was from a groomed person driving a decent vehicle.

Normally, it is wonderful. However, the cook was not wearing a mask and talking over the food. The cashier was wearing a mask sometimes. Our pizza and dough balls were overcooked. With an increase in prices recently, this just isn?t acceptable to me.

The food was great but the order took 2 hours to arrive. This was about way over the estimate. I?m

Mama Sid?s is the best pizza and calzones in Athens, hands down. I?ve been eating here for over a decade and it?s always been my favorite. Support local business and eat at Mama?s!

Excellent, quality food.

The dough portion seemed to be thicker than previous pizzas causing it to be more chewy. Also the pizza was not as hot as previous orders .

Perfectly baked....Very tasty and delivered on time

Pizza was delivered right to my front door well ahead of what time had been estimated by a very polite young man. The pizza was topped with pepperoni, green pepper and fried onions. It was hot and delicious.

Calzone was good, but out of wings on a football Sunday? Cardinal sin!

Ordering on line is quite simple and user friendly. Order acknowledgement is accurate and prompt. Delivery was well ahead of the initial estimate. Delivery guy was very polite. Pizza was delicious as usual. Overall very satisfactory and good value for the cost.

Unlike the last pizza which was reported as being under cooked, this time it was over cooked with the crust burnt and the ingredients dried out.

The pizza was under cooked and left a huge grease stain on the bottom of the delivery box. It was virtually impossible to lift the slices from the box due to limp crust. Additionally because it had not been cooked enough it lost any heat it may have had as we held it for consumption. Very disappointing !!!

As always the pizza was exactly as ordered....delivered well ahead of the expected time..and cooked perfectly.

The pizza was delicious, but they didn't put my order in until I got there. I almost wonder if they even had my order before I got there even though eat street said my order was ready.
