The food was good, but they did not include an item in the order. We also received a notification that the food was done and ready to be picked up. When we arrived, they had not even started making it. Instead of 20 minutes, it was 50 minutes and we had to wait at the restaurant while they prepared it. The wait, plus the missing soup made for an unhappy Mom on Mom's Day - especially since the soup was hers.

It could have been great however, the fish was laid on top of the fries with nothing to separate them so they both became soggy and mushy. I think you need to physically separate the two with foil or wax paper or something or box one of them. This was just a lack of thinking through the packaging in my mind. Too bad because it sure looked great and a good portion of everything. We may be willing to try again if we can be guaranteed that they will be seprated ot sure....and maybe the fish fry just doesn't travel well...but if care is taken it should.

It was probably too optimistic to hope that a decent crisp-battered fish fry could be delivered. Opened the box to find a lukewarm, soggy, oily mess. I had a few bites; it wasn't good. Put it in the oven to warm it up and try to make the batter less damp and gross. Now it was warm and soggy. I ate a few more bites, then scraped the rest into the bin. Lesson learned: Dine in or do without.
